The grapes come from the La Fabriseria vineyard in the Valpolicella Classica region and are left to ripen on the vine. The wine is aged exclusively in Slovenian oak barrels. Valpolicella La Fabriseria is today a great and important wine and represents another wine that the Tedeschi family trusts to tell the world the story of this wonderful region.
It has an intense ruby color and aromas reminiscent of black currant, sour cherry and plum. In the mouth it has a rich structure and balance. Its distinct tannins, lively acidity and alcohol content ensure good aging potential. Retrospective sniffing confirms the nose notes. Enjoy it with game, red meat and aged hard cheeses.
Thanks to the innovative study of soil and plant characteristics that we carried out in Maternigo and the Impervio vineyard, each individual vine is continuously monitored and fruit ripeness is checked on a daily basis.
This Valpolicella has a deep ruby color and its bouquet is intensely fruity. Notes of red currants, cherries and plums that give freshness to the wine and mingle with mineral, ethereal, spicy and vanilla notes. In the mouth it is rich, fresh and well balanced with significant tannic structure, very lively acidity and an alcohol level that ensures good aging potential. The aromas of the mouth follow those of the nose. Accompany red meats, game and mature cheeses.
Monte Olmi is the name of this vineyard, located in Pedemonte di Valpolicella in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. The vineyard is terraced to ensure efficient drainage in case of heavy rainfall. At the same time, the depth and clay in the soil serve to retain water during the dry season. Since the early 60s, Renzo Tedeschi had the idea to vinify the grapes from the Monte Olmi vineyard separately, thus creating one of the first single vineyard wines in Valpolicella. Today Monte Olmi is the symbol of the estate and its territory.
Its color is intense ruby and its aromas are reminiscent of blackberries, spices and flowers combined with notes of Slavonian oak. In the mouth it is full, peppery, fruity, with moderate tannins and a fine aftertaste. The aftertaste confirms its floral character and is persistent. It is a suitable wine for aging which you can enjoy with red meat, game and aged cheeses.
The name "Marne 180" recalls the type of land on which the vineyards were planted (marne) and their exposure from southwest to southeast expressed in degrees (180). This wine is obtained from grapes harvested in various vineyards located in the Valpolicella hills. The different origin of the varieties is important in order to obtain a well-balanced wine, with the good structure that only certain individual areas of Valpolicella can give.
Its color is intense ruby and as for the nose, they are left notes of vanilla and sweet fruits such as raisins, blueberries and cherries. Tastewise, it is a wine with a velvety and raisin character that, combined with its structure and typical elegant bitterness, maintains a good balance. It has a long and persistent flavor and is suitable for aging. Goes well with red meat grilled, roasted or stewed in rich sauces, game and aged cheeses.
