This Amarone was born from Renzo Tedeschi's passion for good wine as an authentic expression of the region and from his determination to create something unique. It is produced from a selection of grapes from the Fabriseria vineyard in the Valpolicella Classica hills between the communities of Fumane and Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella. From 1983 until today, only a few vintages have been produced, which started out as exceptional and distinctive at harvest.
Its color is intense ruby and its aromas due to aging will remind you of vanilla and tobacco. Together with notes of red fruits such as raisins, raspberries and cherries in alcohol, it becomes even more special and at the same time a typical Amarone. It has an elegant taste with a robust tannic structure and good acidity, which maintains its fruity characteristics. Retrospective sniffing confirms the nose notes. This is a wine with a long shelf life. Accompany red meats and cheese.
Amarone Riserva Maternigo is produced from grapes from the Barila vineyard on the Maternigo estate. This Amarone represents Tedeschi's world of culture and tradition, family passion and dedication to research and innovation. The final product is an Amarone Riserva, available only in selected vintages, which has an exceptional character, is particularly fruity, complex and at the same time elegant.
Its color is intense ruby and on the nose you will perceive notes of spices, roasted nuts, mixed with notes of sweet fruits such as black cherry, raisin, raspberry and plum. In the mouth it is robust, fresh and fruity with good balance and elegance. It is a long and persistent wine that can be aged for up to 10 years. Accompany red, braised and roasted meats, game and aged cheeses.
