Memoro really emerged as a cuvee wine, a blend of different grapes from different parts of Italy coming from different vintages. Montepulciano from Abruzzo, Nero d'Avola from Sicily, Merlot from the cooler climate of Veneto and partially dried Primitivo grapes from Puglia. This wine was named Memoro, which in Latin means "I remember" and refers to the Italian pride of the Piccini family.
