The lively and elegant "Metodo Classico Etna Rose" better explores the character of Etna. It is produced 100% from the Nerello Mascalese variety in the Etna area - Contrada Dafara Galluzzo (Rovittello - Castiglione di Sicilia) at an altitude of 700 m. The wine remains in contact with the fine lees for several months before being bottled. After re-fermentation, Chiuse finds its own balance remaining 44 months in the bottle. The slow process of staying on the lees gives body to the wine and creates the sophisticated tertiary aromas.

Winemaker Carl SchmittWagner decided to replant his best vineyard. He painstakingly selected only the best Rieslingvines for the focus of his renowned winery. In the year 1896 he planted Maximin Herrenberg with ungrafted Rieslingvines with 10,000 vines per hectare. A few years ago this very vineyard was ranked by the Prussian tax authority among the best sites along the Mosel. Today this vineyard still stands on its original site from 1896. This makes it probably the oldest vineyard in the world with ungrafted Rieslingvines of this size.

Maximin Herrenberg has a southern exposure of red slate. This very rare terroir gives the wines a unique structure. Coming straight from the Mosel River is the Maximin Herrenberg Riesling Alte Reben Trocken 1896. Clean, cool and spicy on the nose. Orange, kumquat and fennel stand out. In the mouth, it is rich, ripe, intense, excitingly clean, pure, salty, tasty and balanced. A Riesling with great elegance and finesse.

Ritsch is harvested at the end of the harvest to ensure ideal ripening of the grapes. A surprisingly fresh wine that is impressively concentrated. Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir comes from one of the best Marlborough vineyards in New Zealand. Its low acreage yields and clay soils are the main culprits for this exquisite Pinot Noir. The stalks of the grapes are removed in the stainless steel tanks and after pre-fermentation cold extraction, the fermentation process started with yeasts that appeared naturally, at a maximum temperature of 32 Β° C. After three weeks of fermentation, the must and the grapes will be transferred to French oak barrels where they will mature for 12 months.
