Summer in a Glass! Domaine Florian Rondo Blanc 2019 is a dry, fresh, white wine made from the rare Malvazija grape, aged for 4 months on its lees to gain richness and character. Sourced from the vineyards of Epanomi, this wine brings the cool freshness of the Greek summer to your glass. With a pale golden color, it offers a vast array of aromas: green apple, lime, rose petals, and peach. The palate is full-bodied and well-balanced, with a long finish that echoes the initial fruitiness. Serve at 10-12C. It pairs perfectly with fatty fish, paella, and grilled shrimp. The Vineyard is located on the Epanomi peninsula, 500 meters from thecoastline. The harvest time is crucial for Chardonnay, since the berrieslose precious acidity during the ripening process. Therefore, theChardonnay was harvested in the first week of August to achieve a nicebalance of acidity, aroma and structure in the Wine. Only the best grapeswere selected for this wine, which is fermented in 300 ltr. oak barrels.After the fine racking it is kept an additional six months on the lees.Bright yellow with golden reflections. The nose is strongly aromatic withgreen apples, pineapples and a variety of flowers. The barrel vinificationis supplementing it with vanilla and balsamic notes which overall createsa wine with a highly interesting bouquet and an impressive body.Tropical Fruits and spicy, smoky vanilla notes linger for a long time inthe aftertaste. Fermentation and 6 months of aging in oak barrels bestow a complex and luxurious character. With a bright yellow color and golden highlights, it has an intense nose of green apple, pineapple, and flowers, with notes of vanilla and smoke from the barrel. The body is impressive, with a long finish of tropical fruits and spices. Serve ideally at 12-14C. Attractive golden color, with greenish highlights. Wonderful bouquet with strong floral notes, accompanied by interesting aromatic herbs. On the palate it shows all its round and mineral character, giving a slightly salty finish. This wine is amazing with grilled fish, fried calamari and fish soups. Also interesting as an aperitif.
