The Cloudy Bay distillery was founded in 1985 and is one of the most important producers in the country. It emphasizes the fruitful character of the varieties, but also the creation of a special style, exporting wines to more than 35 countries.

This vineyard was planted by Josef Tement in the 1950s and has been owned by the family ever since. The soil from which it is cultivated is located in a closed mountain basin at an altitude of 300 - 420 m with a south-southeast orientation and is characterized by sandy clay coral limestone soil.
