Tselepos Santorini Kanava Xrysou is one of the labels of Tselepos to open new horizons of wine activity, but also the vision of the Chrysos family, which is to revive Kanava and utilize its privately owned vineyards.

Tselepos Santorini Laoudia Kanava Xrysou is perhaps one of the leading assyrtika on the market. Coming from a single vineyard, in the area of Laoudia in the Tower of Santorini, the grapes of the Assyrtiko variety are left to ripen before the harvest, which is of course manual. This is followed by fermentation in amphorae, where the wine remains there for 8 months together with its wine sludge to mature.

Tselepos Santorini Nychteri Kanava Xrysou was introduced to us in 2018 and is another label created from 100% Assyrtiko. From the estates of the Chrysos family in Santorini and with the knowledge and experience of Giannis Tselepos, the grapes of the vineyards over 120 years old, will give us their best characteristics. They will be collected at the limits of natural maturation and will be fermented in large oak barrels, wherever it remains for 8 months together with its fine wine lees.

HEART: A Wine from the Heart. HEART is an elegant white wine, a harmonious blend of Savatiano and Malagousia from the vineyards of Attica. The pre-fermentation cold soak at low temperatures gives it a unique character, highlighting the best elements of both grape varieties. With a pale-yellow color, it offers a rich bouquet of white-fleshed fruits (pear, peach) and herbs. The palate is full-bodied, with a pleasant richness and crisp acidity, while the finish is enhanced by delicate fruit aromas. Serve at 8-12C. It pairs wonderfully with seafood, risotto, white meats, fatty fish, and oily stews. Avoid dishes with very acidic sauces that may overpower its delicate balance.

Anastasia Fragkou Assyrtiko Barrel Aged is a special wine from 100% Assyrtiko, sourced from the vineyards of Attica. The aging process in oak barrels transforms the classic variety, giving it a fuller body, a creamy texture, and stunning complexity. With a pale-yellow color, its initial lemon aromas evolve into more complex notes of honey and dried fruits, with subtle hints of vanilla and nuts. The acidity remains, but it becomes more harmonious. Serve at 11-13C. It pairs wonderfully with fatty fish (salmon), lobster with butter sauce, and white meats with creamy sauces. Avoid very spicy dishes and very acidic sauces. This is a wine that offers a sophisticated and rewarding experience with every sip!

The Freshness of Malagousia. Anastasia Fragou Neelys (PGI Attica) is an elegant, dry, white wine made from 100% Malagousia from the vineyards of Pikermi. Pre-fermentation extraction at controlled temperatures enhances its rich aromatic character, creating a crisp and full-bodied wine.With a pale-yellow color and lively green highlights, it offers vibrant aromas of peach, green apple, and jasmine, with delicate herbal notes. The palate is fresh, with a pleasant body and balanced acidity, while the finish is accented by hints of lime. Serve at 8-10C. It pairs perfectly with poultry, seafood, and dishes with fruity sauces. Avoid very spicy food and acidic sauces!

This dry white wine is a modern expression of traditional Greek Retsina, made from 100% Savatiano from old vines in a single vineyard in Spata, Attica. The winemaking process with cold soak brings out the elegant aromas of the grape, which are in perfect harmony with the wine's classic, delicate touch of pine resin. With a pale green-yellow color, it offers vibrant aromas of lemon blossom, lychee, and lime. The palate is crisp and refined, with a zesty acidity that provides richness. Serve at 8-10C. It pairs wonderfully with seafood, salads, poultry, and cheeses. Avoid very spicy foods and desserts, as the wine's unique character would be overpowered.
