Winemaker Pasquale Presutto created this Tuscan blend from international varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. After the end of fermentation, the wine is aged in second-use French barrique barrels for 12 months. Before being released on the market, Apricaia remains in the bottle for another 4 months.

Apricaia displays a precious ruby color in the glass. Floral notes of hibiscus and violet accompany the fruity aromas of morello cherry, strawberry and blackberry, framed by notes of chocolate. In every sip, Apricaia reveals its wonderful complexity and elegance. Flavorful licorice and minerals caress the palate, while a smooth and silky tannic texture accompanies the finish. Pairs well with traditional Tuscan dishes, savory first courses, game, feathered game and aged cheeses.
