Then the spirits will get married and create this great label, the Glenmorangie 18 Year Old.

Of course the owner of Glenlivet, George Smith, did not miss the opportunity to offer him and 2 years later to get permission to distill the whiskey. This label will mature into three types of barrels, American white oak barrels, ex-sherry barrels and new American oak barrels, thus acquiring its special characteristics.
