Glenrothes Maker's Cut comes from Scotland and the Glenrothes Distillery, which was founded in 1878 by four partners. Obstacles and changes of ownership followed the company like a curse until 1963, when it began to take over and until 1989 it supplied Cutty Sark and Famous Grouse. The company rose to prominence again in 1999 due to a grant it also received from its people, who had brilliant ideas.

The Cartavio 12 Year Old is made with the famous Solera technique adopted in the Jerez region of Spain, where the best Brandy was produced.
