Obstacles and changes of ownership followed the company like a curse until 1963, when it began to take over and until 1989 it supplied Cutty Sark and Famous Grouse. The company rose to prominence again in 1999 due to a grant it also received from its people, who had brilliant ideas.

After at least 15 years of training in the secrets of rum production, Maestros Ronero harness their know-how, secrets and talent, creating the Havana Selection De Maestros. The three Maestros Roneros will choose the best, aged spirits and put them in carefully selected barrels to mature a little more for more aromas. This finish will give the rum its excellent quality and wonderful aromas.
