Red Wine

Velvety, beautifully worked tannins are felt throughout Jima Age d'Or - Day 8 Red Dry, the alcohol has been integrated perfectly and the cool acidity contributes to its fine structure. As it evolves in the glass, the wine reveals floral aromas, botanical elements and a taste of black ink. The salinity and iodine give tamarind flavors while the graphite provides a flawless finish.

Afianes Icarus is a distinguished dry red wine from Ikaria, aged in French oak barrels. Its deep, fiery ruby color hints at a powerful wine experience. The nose is complex, full of aromas of ripe wild red berries and warm notes from the French oak. On the palate, it is rich, with soft tannins and a flavorful climax that brings to the forefront notes of sour cherry and blackberry. The finish is smooth and long-lasting. Ideal for barbecues and nights with friends, it pairs excellently with fatty and spicy cheeses, grilled meats, wild boar or spit-roasted lamb, entrecote, and beef fillet with spicy red sauces. Serve it at 16-18°C.

Messenicola Red Dry Magnum is a collectible bottle for red wine lovers that comes to us from the Monsieur Nicolas winery and the fertile soils of Karditsa.

It is produced in the Etna DOC area (Rovittello-Contrada Dafara Galluzzo) from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes that are harvested by hand in mid-October at an altitude of 700 m. After vinification it matures for 18 months in large 500l oak barrels. Chiuse in Italian is what Clos in France (closed vineyard), is the best and truest expression of the Etna cru known as Contrade. The stone walls, part of the Unesco World Heritage, define the ancient borders of our vineyards. Chiuse Vidalba is a selection of older bush vines Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio from our low yield organic vineyard Contrada Dafara Galluzzo located in Rovittello on the northern slope of the volcano.

Hortais Red Sweet wine of the Mercouris Estate, is aged and produced from sun-dried grapes of the varieties Mavrodafni and Corinthian Raisins whose fermentation was stopped at the appropriate time with the addition of alcohol and aged for five years in oak french barrels.

The color of Jima Jack of Spades - Day 11 Red Dry is deep purple with intense aromas reminiscent of red wild cherries, raspberries, sweet spices and hints of purple flowers. The wine matures for 5 years in Portuguese oak barrels instead of 2 years like a Classic Vintage. This explains its name, "Late Bottled Vintage". The longer barrel aging helps the wine's velvety feel and gives it that very approachable style. Ready to drink immediately after bottling!
