The aftertaste has good aromatic length where a touch of licorice and pepper is discernible. It is a wonderful Chateauneuf du Pape with great concentration and finesse. The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes used for this wine are from a vineyard located in the beautiful Casauria Valley. The harvest is done by hand normally at the end of October. The wine is fermented for 15-20 days in oak barrels and also aged in oak barrels for at least 9 months. After bottling it remains in the cellar for at least 6 months.

It has a deep red color with purple highlights. Its aromatic panorama is broad, with floral rose aromas, fruity berry aromas - especially raspberry jam - and graphite in the background. In the mouth it is full, dynamic with nice tannins and freshness. Goes well with savory, well-seasoned dishes such as pasta with sliced meat, mushroom risotto, red meat and lamb.
