Red Wine

A special red wine made from Pinot Meunier from the Mosel. As usual from Gunther Steinmetz, we have a wine with amazing balance. Full-bodied with fine tannins and medium acidity. Aromatically, you will distinguish red fruits, such as cherry, spices, such as pepper, and flowers, such as rose. Long, delicious and silky aftertaste. Delightful at an amazing price. Enjoy it with duck, rabbit and pasta with red sauce.

Gunther Steinmetz is a master of balance in his red wines. A stunning Pinot Noir from the Moselle that has a Burgundian style in terms of finesse. With medium body and noticeable tannins complemented by refreshing acidity in the mouth. On the nose, aromas of plums, strawberry, spices such as pepper and a subtle hint of wood and smoke. Ideally, you can enjoy it now or from 2025 and for several years with tuna, mushrooms (roasted or risotto), truffle recipes, duck or veal Bourguignon.

Afianes Icarus is a distinguished dry red wine from Ikaria, aged in French oak barrels. Its deep, fiery ruby color hints at a powerful wine experience. The nose is complex, full of aromas of ripe wild red berries and warm notes from the French oak. On the palate, it is rich, with soft tannins and a flavorful climax that brings to the forefront notes of sour cherry and blackberry. The finish is smooth and long-lasting. Ideal for barbecues and nights with friends, it pairs excellently with fatty and spicy cheeses, grilled meats, wild boar or spit-roasted lamb, entrecote, and beef fillet with spicy red sauces. Serve it at 16-18°C.

Its color is intense ruby. Its aromas and taste are beautifully elegant and powerful at the same time, with notes of red fruit, cherry, black cherry, raisin and raspberry. Aging in barriques (oak barrels) does not mask but enhances the fruity aroma. In the mouth it is full, round, generous, with excellent tannins. Enjoy it with good cuts of beef. It is a meditative wine, suitable for aging for 15/20 years, kept in a cool place and away from light.

Il Poggio Aglianico is a compact and bright wine with purple-red color and ruby ??highlights. Very typical Alianico nose, intense, quite complex and delicate, with dominant aromas of small ripe red fruits such as plum, amarena cherry, notes of dark chocolate, vanilla and some smoky notes due to the short passage in barrique (small oak barrel). It has velvety tannins, a fruity palate, a persistent, fine medium body and is poised and quite harmonious. Dare and you won't miss out if you accompany it with Moussaka or barbecue (BBQ).

Piedirosso is a rare and ancient variety found mainly in Campania, Italy and means "red feet". After aging for 6 months in barrique barrels and staying for 1 year in the bottle, it gives us a beautiful ruby red wine. To our nose it reveals complex aromas of cherry, plum and raspberry, slightly spicy. In the mouth, it is pleasant, smooth, slightly salty and velvety. It has an aftertaste with moderate length and persistence. Accompany pasta or rice in tomato sauce or with ragout, red and white meats such as rabbit, vegetable soups with legumes, fish soups, cured meats and not very mature cheeses.

Il Poggio Safinos, is a wine of rare depth, complex and refined with a solid and bright ruby color. Intense and elegant aromas of red fruits such as black cherry, raisins and blackberries are immediately noticeable. In the mouth it is generous, fresh but with velvety and fine tannins. It is balanced, intense, persistent and subtle. Its formality is remarkable. Ideal with grilled red meats or ragout.

Rich aromas of red fruits such as cherries and plums nicely balance secondary elements, sweet spices and toasted oak smoke. Velvety, beautifully worked tannins are felt throughout Jima Age d'Or - Day 8 Red Dry, the alcohol has been integrated perfectly and the cool acidity contributes to its fine structure. As it evolves in the glass, the wine reveals floral aromas, botanical elements and a taste of black ink. The salinity and iodine give tamarind flavors while the graphite provides a flawless finish.

The color of Jima Dame Rouge II - Day 7 Dry Red is deep crimson with purple highlights. Intensely aromatic with aromas reminiscent of red plums, creme de cassis, dates and dried rose petals. The tight tannic structure and juicy acidity beautifully balance the heat of the alcohol. In the mouth spicy, sweet spices, notes of leather and crushed roasted coffee beans. Long velvety finish and high aging potential. Excellent in combination with dates, walnuts and dark chocolate. At the Christmas table it will perfectly accompany the stuffed turkey.

The color of Jima Jack of Spades - Day 11 Red Dry is deep purple with intense aromas reminiscent of red wild cherries, raspberries, sweet spices and hints of purple flowers. In the mouth juicy red fruit and a sensation of sweet velvety roasted chestnuts. Lively acidity, moderate alcohol and soft tannins build a delicate structure. It can be enjoyed pleasantly chilled (13 to 15 C) accompanying cooked fish in red sauces or grilled tuna fillet.
