Red Wine

Strictly selected vineyards, over 80 years old, which will be carefully selected from the areas of Lefkes, Thapsana and Stavros, will give us the varieties Mandilaria and Monemvasia. At a rate of 75-25 they will combine harmoniously and create the Paros Reserve Red Dry.

The only zone of Protected Designation of Origin in which the mixing of red and white grapes is allowed for the production of red wines, is the PDO Paros. In the specific label of the Moraitis estate, the varieties Mandilaria and Monemvasia are the ones that will be carefully selected from the mountain vineyards, will be harmoniously combined and will create the Paros Red Dry.

Augustiatis Red Dry of the Mercouri estate is produced from an indigenous Greek variety that connects its name, mainly with the areas of the western Peloponnese and Zakynthos, the Augoustiatis.

Refosco Red Dry wine from Mercouris Winery is a refined wine, which is very well known in the Greek market.

Hortais Red Sweet wine of the Mercouris Estate, is aged and produced from sun-dried grapes of the varieties Mavrodafni and Corinthian Raisins whose fermentation was stopped at the appropriate time with the addition of alcohol and aged for five years in oak french barrels.

Antaris Red Dry of the Mercouri estate, stands out for its deep purple color and the velvety feeling it leaves in the mouth. It is a rich, full of wine that accompanies beautiful evenings with good food.

Methymnaios Red Dry is a unique organic wine with a Protected Geographical Indication Lesvos. It's exclusively made from the local Chidiriotiko grape variety, which yields a striking ruby color. The nose reveals aromas of red roses and honey, with notes of forest fruits. It's a pleasantly dry wine with rounded tannins and a distinct smoky minerality, leading to a long, full-bodied finish. Serve it at 16°C to enjoy its complexity. It pairs perfectly with lamb, sweet and sour dishes, Mediterranean cuisine, and pizza. Avoid serving it with light white meats. Explore the authentic character of Mavrodaphne through Laura Nobile, a red wine from the slopes of Aigialeia. This wine is a sensory journey, with a deep crimson color and a rich body. Its bouquet is delightful, with aromas of black and red fruits and hints of spices. The 15-month aging in oak barrels gives it elegant woody notes and refined tannins, leading to a long, sophisticated finish. Serve at 16-18°C.
