The history of the winery begins sometime in 1906, by Emmanuel Gavalas, who began to plant the first vineyards. Memoro really emerged as a cuvee wine, a blend of different grapes from different parts of Italy coming from different vintages. Montepulciano from Abruzzo, Nero d'Avola from Sicily, Merlot from the cooler climate of Veneto and partially dried Primitivo grapes from Puglia. This wine was named Memoro, which in Latin means "I remember" and refers to the Italian pride of the Piccini family. This is a warm and modern style wine, with notes of dark cherries, figs and coffee in a delicate oak frame. It is generous on the palate, revealing a bright fruity character. Concentrated with excellent structure, yet harmonious and smooth and a long, dense finish. Accompany it with barbecue, roasts, game, goat or lamb.

The different origins of the grapes give Memoro Bianco its balanced taste. Viognier with all its warmth, linked to the region brings the wonderful structure. Chardonnay from cooler climates exudes apricot and apple aromas on the nose, lending freshness to the palate, supported by the delicate floral notes of Vermentino and sweet pear of Pecorino. Summarizing white and yellow stone fruit aromas, with tropical notes. Refreshing on the palate, with a remarkable concentration of fruit and notes of spiced pears that give a lively finish. Serve with fish-based dishes, pasta or rice with creamy sauces, poultry, seafood and hard or soft cheeses.

Delicate and fragrant, with predominant notes of violet and gooseberry. Upon tasting, one can also appreciate the flavours of dried fig and black plum, complemented by subtle hints of spices and liquorice. A truly delightful and complex sensory experience!

It is a noble native wine of Apulia, with a beautiful ruby red color. Intense and seductive bouquet, full and round body with nice complexity, slightly refined aged in barrique barrels.

Cultivated in our vineyards in Koutsi, Nemea, the grapes create a wine that perfectly marries the vibrant fruit and supple tannins of Agiorgitiko with the richness and spicy character of Syrah. With a deep reddish-violet color, it is ideal served cool at 10-14C, even during warmer months. It pairs perfectly with light red meats like burgers, pasta with red sauce, and Mediterranean appetizers. Avoid heavy meats and fish.
