Siflogo Keropatis Natural is a wonderful red wine, which comes to us from the beautiful Lefkada and the winery Siflogo. The winery was founded in 1994 by Dionysis and Maria Papanikolopoulou, with love and respect for the traditional methods of cultivation and winemaking, but also the indigenous varieties of the island. This label is produced exclusively from the Vertzami variety, whose grapes come from vineyards of at least 40 years old. Keropatis was the name given by the producers of Lefkada to their red wines, which had very short contact with the marcs.

Ktima Alpha Syrah (100% Syrah) is a generous red wine from the Amyndeon region (640-650 m. elevation). Maturation (12 months in new oak barrels and 15 in bottle) grants it a peppery texture and sophisticated complexity. Boasting a deep ruby color, it offers an intense bouquet of red forest fruits, pepper, vanilla, and mocha. The palate is round, balanced, with subtle tannins and a long finish dominated by butterscotch. Serve at 16-18C. It pairs perfectly with juicy red meats, roast lamb, game birds, and mature soft cheeses. Avoid white fish and overly spicy dishes. This wine is a luxurious and comforting experience with a spicy kick!

Ktima Alpha Xinomavro "Skantzochiros" (100% Xinomavro) is a Single Vineyard red wine (PDO Amyndeon) from the "Skantzochiros" block (690 m. elevation). It matures for 12 months in new oak barrels, achieving the structure and finesse of a grand Xinomavro. With a deep red color, it offers a complex bouquet of ripe blackberry, sun-dried tomato, and spices (pepper, clove). The palate is full-bodied, boasting balanced acidity and well-integrated tannins. Serve at 16-18C. It pairs perfectly with juicy grilled meats, stew (Stifado), and spicy cheeses. Avoid white fish and delicate seafood. In short, a beautiful Rhone Syrah. Vinification and aging takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures for the best expression of the purity of the fruit. A sweet aroma of violets and black fruit aromas emerges. The palate is creamy with hints of raspberry and blueberry. The tannins are elegant and silky. It is not an aging wine but you can enjoy it between 1 and 5 years with charcuterie and grilled meats.

We are dealing with an Alsatian Pinot Noir that does not come out every year. Its vinification takes place 75% in stainless tanks and 25% in oak barrels. It is crisp in the mouth, rich and full on the palate, with intense tannins on the finish and can easily be combined with charcuterie, barbecued meats, game or poultry, pizzas and flambe tarts.
