Platte Valley Corn Whiskey is quite unique among corn whiskeys, because it has been aged for 3 years in a used cask. It has an alcohol content of no more than 80%, with 80% fermented corn mash and aged in charred, second-hand oak barrels.

Aromas of corn, vanilla, strawberry and a touch of spices are what dominate. On the palate we strongly perceive corn, vanilla, fruit and spice, accompanied by notes of dried fruit, leading us to a short aftertaste, with corn, vanilla and dried fruit occupying our palate for a while.
