Piccini Memoro Red 0.75L

Producer: Piccini 1882
Memoro really emerged as a cuvee wine, a blend of different grapes from different parts of Italy coming from different vintages. Montepulciano from Abruzzo, Nero d'Avola from Sicily, Merlot from the cooler climate of Veneto and partially dried Primitivo grapes from Puglia. This wine was named Memoro, which in Latin means "I remember" and refers to the Italian pride of the Piccini family. This is a warm and modern style wine, with notes of dark cherries, figs and coffee in a delicate oak frame. It is generous on the palate, revealing a bright fruity character. Concentrated with excellent structure, yet harmonious and smooth and a long, dense finish. Accompany it with barbecue, roasts, game, goat or lamb.

Piccini 1882 set the ambitious goal of taking us on a tour of Italy's wine through its most famous regions. The company ventured where others did not, transforming Chianti, one of the most conservative Italian wines, into a young and dynamic wine, demonstrating its capacity for innovation and continued dynamism. With courage and determination they took one of Italy's oldest, most traditional wines and made it contemporary, vibrant, original and international.

With an annual production of over 16 million bottles, Piccini wines are distributed on tables in more from 80 countries around the world. The extraordinary goals achieved today testify to the acumen of the vision of the Piccini family, which for more than a century has pursued the ambitious task of reinforcing the identity of the Italian territory in its bottles.
