Pale strawberry colour, with intense and fresh berry aromas over subtle floral notes. Excellent concentration and a slightly off-dry finish, beautifully balanced by crisp acidity and a refreshing, savory note. A perfect wine to enjoy all year round and an extremely versatile food wine with barbecue, pasta, rice dishes, vegetables and curries as well as fried or spicier dishes.

The Mestas were a powerful association of shepherds in Medieval Castile, who controlled the sheep herding routes throughout the country. The vineyards are nestled deep in the land of the Mestas who still pass through with their flocks. Their annual migration is a reminder of ancient rights and a cultural motto for coexistence with nature.

The Mesta range is produced from privately-owned organic vineyards in Ucles (Castile, Spain), managed as an integrated ecosystem and filled with centuries-old oaks. Wines of great purity are produced, reflecting the unique personality of the land and the grape.
