Malt Whisky

GlenFarclas 105 comes from Scotland and the village of Ballindalloch. The Glenfarclas Distillery was founded in 1836 when Robert Hay was licensed to make whiskey. Since then, the distillery has been passed down from generation to generation, thus maintaining its family character. It takes its name from its high alcohol content and its age is not specified, although it is said to mature for about 8-10 years in Spanish oak barrels, which contained oloroso sherry before.

Glenmorangie La Quinta Ruban comes to us from Scotland and the Glenmorangie distillery, which is famous for its tall distilleries and of course its excellent whiskey. It was founded in 1843 in the Highlands of Scotland, with production starting in 1849 and is considered a pioneer in the technique of double maturation of whiskey, in barrels of sherry, port and wine.

Armorik Yeun Elez is a single malt whisky produced by the Warenghem distillery in Brittany, France. It is part of the distillery's limited edition range and is named after the Yeun Elez forest, which is known for its mystical and mysterious reputation. The whisky is made from locally sourced barley and is aged in oak casks, which are carefully selected by the master distiller to ensure the whisky develops the desired flavor profile.

Ardmore 12 Years Portwood is an excellent and premium expression of the famous Ardmore whisky. Balvenie 12 Year Old Doublewood whiskey was created by Malt Master David Stewart who designed the process in 1982. Whiskeys mature for at least 12 years in oak and ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred to ex-sherry Spanish barrels for 9 months. Then they all go together in large pots or tuns as they are called for 4 months. There, the flavors and aromas of all the barrels will be married before they are bottled so that this excellent single malt whiskey will come to us.

Isle of Jura French Oak is a unique single malt whisky that showcases the influence of French oak cask finishing. Initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels, it is then refined in hand-selected French oak casks, which impart rich layers of complexity.

Glenlivet 15 Year Old has a history dating back to 1800 and is considered one of the finest malt whiskeys in its class. In 1822 it is said that King George IV on an official visit to Scotland asked to drink Glenlivet, leaving the world stunned, as it was then one of the many smuggled spirits in the Speyside area. Of course the owner of Glenlivet, George Smith, did not miss the opportunity to offer him and 2 years later to get permission to distill the whiskey. This label goes through the main stage of its maturation in American and Spanish oak barrels, and then it will be put in selected, French oak barrels, made of limousin oak, the same as that used for the barrels in which Cognac matures.

That's when it got its name, as it used to be called Small Isles.
