Gaia Wild Ferment Moschofilero is a unique expression of this versatile variety from PGI Peloponnese. The winemaking process, which includes wild fermentation and aging in oak barrels, gives it a more complex and authentic character, highlighting the region's unique terroir. The nose is dominated by classic aromas of rose, jasmine, and citron, enriched with delicate notes of butter and depth. The lively acidity is perfectly balanced with its body, offering freshness and complexity. It is best served at 12C. It pairs wonderfully with Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, oily stews, and white meats. Avoid very heavy red meats that would overpower its delicate flavor.

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes used for this wine are from a vineyard located in the beautiful Casauria Valley. The harvest is done by hand normally at the end of October. The wine is fermented for 15-20 days in oak barrels and also aged in oak barrels for at least 9 months. After bottling it remains in the cellar for at least 6 months.

It has a deep red color with purple highlights. Its aromatic panorama is broad, with floral rose aromas, fruity berry aromas - especially raspberry jam - and graphite in the background. In the mouth it is full, dynamic with nice tannins and freshness. Goes well with savory, well-seasoned dishes such as pasta with sliced meat, mushroom risotto, red meat and lamb.
