Kirk & Sweeney was a wooden schooner, better known for smuggling rum thanCaribbean in the Northeast during the first years of the Prohibition. In 1924 it was confiscated inNew York coast with huge amount of rum. The schooner was later renamed"Chase" and faithful to her duty in the illegal trade of rum, she "ran" the coast guard.

It is a handmade Authentic Dominican rum. The process begins with the hand-harvesting of high-quality cane processedin Blackstrap molasses category three for fermentation and distillation. Then the rum ages in varietyfrom American and French oak barrels, with the distiller performing various stages of disposal, mixing and recovering over the years. The final mixture is a selection of various aged rums between 3 and14 years.

KIRK & SWEENEY RESERVA presents a sweet aroma. Cane honey with earthy cane hues along with a hint of vanilla, delicious, roasted oak, caramel and dried fruit are all its aromas. heavy body that has seriouscharacter but not authoritarian. Light notes of vanilla & wood strike the palate transforming it into aincredibly velvety journey.

Bold, ripe and sweet vanilla flavors appear in soft, long andluxurious finish.
