In terms of taste, Kavalan Concertmaster offers an initial aftertaste full of black sugar, white pepper and cinnamon. Then, the Portuguese port appears with exuberant notes and the warmth of the wood is highlighted in the second wave of flavours. In its aroma, the whisky reveals aromas of red grapes and cloves, mixed with strong notes of vanilla and a muted smoky character. The aftertaste is long and refined, with strong notes of port, vanilla and spices.
