An den Achtmorgen is the first GG Pinot Noir. The plot is the heart of the equestrian trail in the Ruppertsberg and with the dense planting of Burgundy Pinot varieties in 2009. The sandstone and limestone in the soil and the sheltered location at the foot of the Haardt make this plot excellent for Pinot Noir. Since 2018 it is now also classified as GG. The wine is bright ruby with slight violet highlights. Airy, noble and elegant with aromas of plum and cherry preserves on the nose, it continues on the palate classy and ethereal floating and carried atgreat length by finely woven tannins and cherry aromas.

100% Sangiovese Grosso harvested by hand. 4 years aging of which 24 months in oak barrels. Once bottled, it rests for an additional 6 months in bottle before being released to the market. An earthy expression of Sangiovese offers aromas of black cherry, rose and notes of eucalyptus. Tastewise you will feel wild cherry, blackberry, clove, savory herbs and licorice alongside the tannins and acidity. Brunello is a perfect partner for red meats, smoked, chargrilled, oven-roasted or braised, with the classic combination remaining the Florentine-style grilled T-bone (Bistecca alla Fiorentina).

Varvaglione Tatu is a very interesting wine from Southern Italy that, in addition to the Primitivo variety, also has 10% Aglianico. Dark red color with violet notes, aromas of ripe red fruits such as blackberries and blueberries, pleasant aromatic notes of potpourri and spices are some of the characteristics of this wine. This is a juicy, balanced and savory wine, quite tasty with a long and persistent aftertaste. Pair it with ragout pasta, grilled beef steaks, lamb, aged and spicy cheeses, game and spiced recipes.

Salice is a village of Salento in Puglia. Dominant variety in this DOC area is Negroamaro. Varvaglione Salice Salentino is an impressive wine with a dark red color and aromas of black cherries, cocoa, bitter chocolate, vanilla, coffee, plums and chestnut. In the mouth it has a medium to full body, it is harmonious, balanced and elegant, with round tannins and a long aromatic, fruity aftertaste. Accompany it with lasagna, barbecue, boiled meats and aged cheeses.

The golden yellow color of Varvaglione Primadonna Chardonnay is a sign that the wine has passed through a barrel. Rich and aromatic notes of pineapple, croissant with almond cream filling, lemon zest and green apple on the nose, full and harmonious taste, with really good and balanced acidity that prepares the palate for a long and pleasant aftertaste are the characteristics of this wine. Pair it with grilled chicken, brisket with white sauce, shellfish and all the great fatty fish dishes.

Varvaglione Papale Oro is an impressively generous and rich wine with an intense red color. Aromas of fruit jam, black cherry, cassis, plum smoke, spices and a round and playful mouth are some of the elements that characterize it. The aromas of the nose continue in the mouth leaving notes of dark chocolate, licorice, mint and coffee. The aftertaste is long and a little sweet and reminds of caramel and Turkish delight. Accompany it with hearty dishes, grilled and stewed meats, game, charcuterie and meat-based first courses. It is also excellent with soups and cheeses such as Pecorino Romano.

This wine is the rose version of the very successful 12 e mezzo series. It has a modern soft pale pink color, with violet highlights and aromas of fresh unripe red fruits meeting harmonious aromas of white flowers. On the palate, it comes alive with crisp acidity. Enjoy with appetizers, light dishes, fresh salmon, grilled shrimp and cheese.

Varvaglione Primitivo is a truly elegant red wine with intense fruity aromas of ripe plums, dark chocolate and cherry jam. It is slightly aromatic in the mouth with a finish of vanilla and cocoa offering a juicy, smooth and full of ripe tannins on the palate. Ideal wine to combine with all kinds of meat dishes such as grilled veal steaks but also lamb or goat meat in the oven. Enjoy it with aged cheese, pasta with red sauces and pepperoni pizza.

Ruby red color with intense purple hints, ripe aromas and taste, bouquet of red fruits. This is Varvaglione Negroamaro. In the mouth, the medium body and persistent vanilla notes enhance its velvety and soft taste giving a balanced and delicious aftertaste. Accompany it fearlessly and put it on your table with fresh cheese, pasta with red sauce or braised meat, pizza and salads.

Varvaglione Malvasia Bianca wine has a white gold color with straw yellow highlights and an intense, aromatic and beautiful nose. Aromas of mango, rose petals, honey, pear and a herbalism reminiscent of honeysuckle characterize it. The palate is overwhelmed by its fresh vibrancy and balance. It is a structured, harmonious, complex and pleasant wine with a delicate taste. Excellent with delicate fish, shellfish and cheese. Pair it with Asian cuisine, rice noodles with shrimp and vegetables, sweet and sour pork, vegetable dishes and ravioli with herbs and parmesan.
