Dalmore Valour 1L

Dalmore Valour comes to us from the Highlands of Scotland and a secluded area on the banks of the Cromarty Firth. The story of its special emblem began in 1263, when Colin Of Kintail, leader of the Mackenzie Clan, rescued the King of Scotland, Alexander III, by killing a stag that had attacked him. As a reward, the king gave the Colin of Kintail the emblem of the stag with 12 horns, an emblem that adorns the bottle to this day.

Dalmore Value matures in ex-bourbon barrels for some years before being transferred to ex-sherry barrels and finished maturing in port pipes in Portugal. Caramelized orange peel and raisins are the aromas that stand out immediately, before the flavors of chocolate, barley and nutmeg begin to fill our palate. A long and warm finish of orange and cinnamon keeps you company for an hour before the next sip.
