In 1920 King George V knighted Alexander Bleer, grandson of Johnnie Walker, for his services to the nation. He was also the inspirer of this whiskey and following the notes of Alexander Walker II, Johnnie Walker XR 21 Year Old was created, containing stocks of old barrels over 21 years old.

In the opinion of George Harper, creator of this anniversary edition, Johnnie Walker White, Clynelish was the best place to start this process after having spent long winters. According to experts, these winters are similar to the winters experienced by John Snow and the members of the Night Guard north of the "Wall".

Johnnie Walker Swing is the latest blend of Alexander Walker II -grandson of Johnnie Walker- which contains malt from various parts of Scotland such as Speyside, Northwest Highlands and Islay.
