Atemporal meaning timeless, which in turn means "without reference to time". It is the art of assembly. A blend of different varieties: Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc from the Albaneve vineyard (Uco Valley, Mendoza) and Torrontes from Cafayate (Salta). Only the Chardonnay matures in French oak barrels - second, third and fourth use - of 225 liters for 9 months.
Pleasant pale yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose is intense, with a wide variety of aromas ranging from tropical fruits - pineapple, lychee - and citrus, to flowers, such as jasmine. Balsamic notes reminiscent of pepper and cardamom are also revealed. On the palate, its acidity and freshness stand out, making it delicious with a somewhat salty finish. Enjoy it with soft and semi-hard cheeses with delicate flavors, white meat dishes and pasta with mild sauces.
Atemporal means "timeless". The d'Aulan family's French heritage has shaped and characterized this blend. The French heritage inspires the Alta Vista team to produce a blend of different varieties from the same origin: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot from the Albaneve vineyard (Uco Valley). The three varieties are harvested, fermented and aged separately for 1 year in 225 liter French oak barrels.
Notes of violets and fruits such as plums, blackberries and figs are discernible. Light spicy notes of thyme and licorice are also left. On the palate it is a balanced ensemble: the silky nature of Malbec, the structure and power of Cabernet Sauvignon and the depth of Petit Verdot. Complex and durable, with good aging potential. It is recommended to accompany it with grilled red meats or strong, tasty and intense dishes.
Fragrant aromas of ripe apple, citrus blossom and roasted almonds combine with a generous lift of toasty oak and a hint of gun smoke. Charred stone fruit with a mealy and creamy richness derived from barrel fermentation provide the framework for this full-bodied wine, structurally tied together with a precise line of lush acidity leading into a long, lingering finish.
This deliciously complex wine will be a great partner to pan-roasted deep sea fish, finished with brown butter and sage, served with celeriac puree and a simple green salad.
