Ktima Alpha Xinomavro "Skantzochiros" (100% Xinomavro) is a Single Vineyard red wine (PDO Amyndeon) from the "Skantzochiros" block (690 m. elevation). It matures for 12 months in new oak barrels, achieving the structure and finesse of a grand Xinomavro. With a deep red color, it offers a complex bouquet of ripe blackberry, sun-dried tomato, and spices (pepper, clove). The palate is full-bodied, boasting balanced acidity and well-integrated tannins. Serve at 16-18C. It pairs perfectly with juicy grilled meats, stew (Stifado), and spicy cheeses. Avoid white fish and delicate seafood. A wine that passionately tells the story of the Greek vineyard!
