Ktima Alpha Syrah (100% Syrah) is a generous red wine from the Amyndeon region (640-650 m. elevation). Maturation (12 months in new oak barrels and 15 in bottle) grants it a peppery texture and sophisticated complexity. Boasting a deep ruby color, it offers an intense bouquet of red forest fruits, pepper, vanilla, and mocha. The palate is round, balanced, with subtle tannins and a long finish dominated by butterscotch. Serve at 16-18C. It pairs perfectly with juicy red meats, roast lamb, game birds, and mature soft cheeses. Avoid white fish and overly spicy dishes. This wine is a luxurious and comforting experience with a spicy kick!
