Doro is the name of the one and only vineyard from which this wine comes, produced from 100% Glera grapes. It has a pale yellow, bright and sparkling color with fine and continuous bubbles. Its aroma is distinct, reminiscent of fruits and flowers, -characteristic of Prosecco-, such as apple quince, bread crust and herbs. It is a balanced wine, dry, with crisp acidity and creaminess. The term Scalunera, in Sicilian means ladder, and refers to the terraced vineyards located on the steep slopes of Mount Etna, which have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Harvesting is done manually. And it gives us wine with a salmon color, characteristic of Nerello Mascalese grapes. Expressive nose of small red fruits with subtle notes reminiscent of ripe peaches and passion fruit. On the palate it is fresh, with a medium body and a long mineral aftertaste. Versatile at the table, it accompanies seafood appetizers, tuna tartare, pasta such as amatriciana and light barbecue.
