This is the typical Valpolicella Superiore wine, made according to the best traditions and with all the characteristics of the wines of the Tedeschi family. It has good structure, delicate taste and elegance. The grapes come from vineyards located in the Valpolicella hills. After vinification it is aged in Slavonia oak barrels for 1 year.
Its color is ruby with highlights of garnet while its aromas are fresh leaving clear notes of cherry and raisin. In the mouth it has a medium to full body, well balanced and harmonious structure. It can be aged for about 7 years. Enjoy it with pasta, white and red meat dishes in red sauces or roasts.

In the mouth it is rich, fresh and well balanced with significant tannic structure, very lively acidity and an alcohol level that ensures good aging potential. Monte Olmi is the name of this vineyard, located in Pedemonte di Valpolicella in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. The vineyard is terraced to ensure efficient drainage in case of heavy rainfall. At the same time, the depth and clay in the soil serve to retain water during the dry season. Since the early 60s, Renzo Tedeschi had the idea to vinify the grapes from the Monte Olmi vineyard separately, thus creating one of the first single vineyard wines in Valpolicella. Today Monte Olmi is the symbol of the estate and its territory.
Its color is intense ruby and its aromas are reminiscent of blackberries, spices and flowers combined with notes of Slavonian oak. In the mouth it is full, peppery, fruity, with moderate tannins and a fine aftertaste. The aftertaste confirms its floral character and is persistent. It is a suitable wine for aging which you can enjoy with red meat, game and aged cheeses.
