The West Cork Distillery was founded by three childhood friends in 2003. Today it has an area of 12 acres and exports its production to more than 70 countries. The barrel in which the whiskey has matured was previously used to mature bourbon. It is a mixture consisting of 75% cereals and 25% malt.

West Cork Black Cask is a rich and smooth expression crafted with a blend of carefully selected malt and grain whiskeys. This Irish whiskey is matured in charred oak casks, giving it a unique depth of flavor and a slightly smoky finish.
