Bocatheva Barbados & Jamaica was created from the experience in the spirit world of BBC Spirit. After spending two years traveling the world testing more than 400 wonderful barrel samples, BBC Spirit partnered with Master Blender, to select 20 barrels from the Caribbean's most famous distilleries. Bocatheva Barbados & Jamaica is the first bottling of the Bocatheva series.

From the Casa Botran distillery and with the raw material of the syrup from fresh cane juice, we get the Botran 15 Year Old Solera Reserva. The syrup will be fermented for 48 hours, before going through the distillation process. It will then be matured with the solera method in the mountains of Guatemala, using ex-bourbon oak barrels and barrels of white oak, which previously contained sherry and port wines.

They had the idea to mix Bacardi from the Carta Blanca and Gold labels, so that their colors and flavors could be combined. After that, they enriched this mixture with molasses and a secret mixture of spices.

The classic, traditional recipe of Bacardi Carta Blanca will be followed faithfully. The rum will be put in barrels with the fruit and will stay there to "tie" the aromas and flavors. It will then be filtered and bottled.
