It was founded in 1843 in the Highlands of Scotland, with production starting in 1849 and is considered a pioneer in the technique of double maturation of whiskey, in barrels of sherry, port and wine. Aultmore Foggie Moss 12 Years is a stunning label, which comes to us from Aultmore Distillery. It was founded in 1895 by Alexander Edward and had several difficulties at the beginning. It changed hands and closed several times, before being bought by Dewars, in 1998.
