Its creators chose to mature the distillate in white oak barrels, in which bourbon had previously matured. Caracas Rum Anejo 8 Year Old rum is rumored to offer notes reminiscent of its country of origin, Venezuela.

Bowmore 12 Year Old is an amazing malt whiskey, which comes to us from Scotland and specifically the city of Bowmore and from the eponymous distillery. The town of Bowmore was founded in 1768 and just 11 years later, in 1779, the first legal distillery on the island of Islay became operational, under the supervision of David Simon. Bowmore 12 Year Old will mature for at least 12 years in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon barrels, which will give it its special aromas and amber color.
