Teeling Blackpitts is a single malt whiskey originating in Dublin and the Teeling Distillery. The distillery was founded in 1782 by Walter Teeling, but due to financial reasons it closed in 1976. The Teeling brothers opened a new distillery very close to the old one in 2014 and immediately succeeded in bringing Teeling back to its previous levels. Teeling Blackpitts is named after the Blackpitts region, which is known for its malt.
