Tedeschi Capitel Monte Olmi Amarone 2016 0.75L

Monte Olmi is the name of this vineyard, located in Pedemonte di Valpolicella in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. The vineyard is terraced to ensure efficient drainage in case of heavy rainfall. At the same time, the depth and clay in the soil serve to retain water during the dry season. Since the early 60s, Renzo Tedeschi had the idea to vinify the grapes from the Monte Olmi vineyard separately, thus creating one of the first single vineyard wines in Valpolicella. Today Monte Olmi is the symbol of the estate and its territory.

Its color is intense ruby and its aromas are reminiscent of blackberries, spices and flowers combined with notes of Slavonian oak. In the mouth it is full, peppery, fruity, with moderate tannins and a fine aftertaste. The aftertaste confirms its floral character and is persistent. It is a suitable wine for aging which you can enjoy with red meat, game and aged cheeses.

Ansari is a new label from the Tedeschi winery. This is an Amarone suitable for lovers of the genre with an intense ruby color and aromas reminiscent of fruits such as cherry, plum, blueberry and dried fruit such as fig and spices. In the mouth, it has a full body, is quite balanced and brings out a beautiful bitterness at the end reminiscent of chocolate. Accompany grilled red meat with rich sauces, barbecue and aged cheeses.

This wine is made from organically grown Glera and Pinot Noir grapes and vinified using the Charmat method. Staffilo Prosecco Rose has a light powder-pink color with many fine bubbles that enhance its brightness.
